Wesley for the past little while has started to build different things with his toys and then comes up with a name for his new invention as well as what it is suppose to do!!
Yesterday he invented a 'Kitty-Poo-Away-anator' - or some such thing that was to help scoop out the kitty litter! He invented something that would squirt water, blow air and so on!
So this morning on our way to drop him off at Angie's for the day - he told me that when he grew up he had to go to work at dad's work! I explained that he didn't have to do the same thing that his dad did, and that I thought he would be a great inventor some day!! He loved this idea and started coming up with inventions that he would invent someday.
My favorite was his 'Mind-Good-inator" - it would make it so your mind only thought of good things and you would never have bad dreams again, but he stated that that would of course take a LONG time to build, but he would try! So then I asked him if he would make me an invention that would be able to clean my whole house! (I thought this would be easier then Brain changing devices.) His answer back to me
"Mom," rather annoyed, "I'm not a magician."
